The University of Aberdeen will be hosting its twelfth international conference on the subject ‘Literature of Region and Nation.’ This will take place from 30 July through to 2 August. Among the papers will be a presentation by Professor David Hewitt (University of Aberdeen) regarding the use of dialect in nineteenth-century fiction.
