Imprentit: 500 years of the Scottish printed word
Printing's profound impact in Scotland across five centuries is the focus of the National Library of Scotland summer exhibition with treasures on show from its historic collections.
To celebrate the opening of the exhibition the Scots Language Centre is displaying two items from the NLS collection which are connected to the Scots language and which can be seen at the show.
The exhibition will be accompanied by numerous events and activities including a number with a Scots language theme.
The main Scots event is a panel debate on the Scots Language today which will take place on Tuesday 23 September. The event is presented in partnership between NLS and the Scots Language Centre and will feature a guest appearance from Linda Fabiani, Minister for Europe, External Affairs and Culture.

The exhibition is open daily from Friday 27 June to Sunday 12 October.
