Michael Hance
Michael Hance has been the manager of the Scots Language Resource Centre since December 2002. He studied politics at the University of Edinburgh and spent some time as an exchange student in the University of Helsinki. After finishing his studies, Michael worked for a number of years as the Scottish Arts Council's Executive and Parliamentary Officer. Michael grew up in Aberdeen and presently lives in West Lothian.
Dr David Horsburgh
David Horsburgh has been the Language and Information Development Officer of the Scots Language Centre since May 2007. He studied Celtic/Language,and Scottish History, at the University of Aberdeen where he was awarded both his MA and PhD. He is a former National Secretary (1996-9) and National President (1999-2000) of the Scots Language Society and has published many articles in and about the Scots language and Scottish identity. David spent much of his life in North East Scotland and presently lives in Angus.
Avril Nicoll
Avril Nicoll is a native of Perthshire and was appointed Clerical Officer for the SLC in January 2008.
